OUR FLIGHTS ARE BOOKED!!!
Here is our tentative travel schedule while in China.

Travel Schedule:

11/14 – Depart US at 7:20am

11/15 – Arrive in Beijing at 3:40pm

11/16 and 11/17 – Tour Beijing (try to get over jet lag!)

11/18 – Fly to Taiyuan, Shanxi Province – Gotcha Day! (Get our baby girl)

11/19 – 11/22 – Appointments and Government proceedings.

11/23 – Fly to Guangzhou

11/24 – Medical exam/TB Test in Guangzhou

11/25 – 11/28 – Touring, Shopping, Bonding time with AMot!

11/29 – American Consulate Appointment – Oath Taking Ceremony

11/30 – Family goes to American Consulate to pick up passport with visa

12/1- Depart China at 9:15am – Arrive Houston at 4:44pm

  2. I’m so excited for you guys and can’t wait to follow your journey! You will be in China on almost the exact same dates we were there almost 9 years ago when we went to adopt Kaylee. My advice is to document via journals and pictures as much as you can. You will find that you will be in such a fog from excitement and exhaustion that you won’t remember very much and will be very glad to look back through your pictures and journals. It has become a family tradition for us to go back and read our journal and pictures on “Gotcha Days”. You will all be in our prayers and feel free to call or text if you need anything.
